SYNOPSIS
“Golem”, the title chosen by director Louis Nero for his first movie, evokes esoteric visions. Alchemical legends, mysteries about the Jewish Kabbalah and the legendary film “Der Golem” Wegener. The magic triangle of cities, Turin, Prague and Lyon, are the scenery for the movie dedicated to the Golem’s figure. In the night, the legendary automaton statue, inspired by the magical power of words, wanders searching his creator. The paths intersect and overlap on many levels. The traditional narrative development allows for a hypertext made up of fragments, kaleidoscopic emotions and feelings. Nero creates a fascinating forest of cultural influences, symbols, expressionistic shadows; a linguistic and narrative experiments that give life to a work engaging, stimulating and full of references to an intermittent stream of rare emotional power’s images.
